As it is said in the Web Site description, this web site is for people studying English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL). There are quizzes, word games, word puzzles, proverbs, slang expressions, anagrams, a random-sentence generator and other computer assisted language learning activities.
I strongly recommend this site to all my students.
Just click on the link to go to the main page

Idioms and proverbs
An idiom is a combination of words that has a meaning that is different from the meanings of the individual words themselves. It can have a literal meaning in one situation and a different idiomatic meaning in another situation. It is a phrase which does not always follow the normal rules of meaning and grammar.
A proverb is a short saying or sentence that is generally known by many people. The saying usually contains words of wisdom, truth or morals that are based on common sense or practical experience. It is often a description of a basic rule of conduct that all people generally follow or should follow. Proverbs can be found in all languages

First time blogging
The aim of this blog is to offer my students a new tool to learn English while enjoying their favourite activity, the Internet. It's sometimes difficult to open a new way to get your students motivated when learning but I think it is worth the effort .
This blog pretends to be an experimental cyberspace to try new methods to promote writing, reading listening and even speaking among students, not just talking about their things but also about themes of general interest.
So feel free to add your comments to the posts and have a nice day.
